The Evoked Potentials team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are delighted to inform you that Nottingham will host this year’s BriSCEV Course and Conference. The venue, Nottingham Conference Centre, is located in the city centre of Nottingham. Situated in the heart of the East Midlands, Nottingham is easily accessible by car, train and air.

Monday morning’s course: Visual Fields and mfERG/mfVEP testing
This year’s course will cover:
1. Understanding the visual field test
2. Clinical application of electrodiagnostic tests including the mfERG and mfVEP in the assessment of visual field loss

Conference: Our theme this year is “Roving eyes”- Visual Electrodiagnostics and Ocular Motor Function and will be concerned with abnormal ocular motor function including nystagmus in relation to Evoked Potential investigations. In this context we are aiming to attract a wide multidisciplinary audience including neurophysiologists, clinical scientists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, orthoptists and allied health professionals.

The Monday evening dinner will be held in the National Justice Museum, Nottingham’s historic courthouse and gaol.

The Evoked Potentials team at Nottingham University Hospitals look forward to returning as your hosts for BriSCEV 2023 and welcoming you back to Nottingham for the 20th anniversary meeting as the inaugural BriSCEV meeting was hosted by Prof. Colin Barber and his team here in 2003. We would be delighted if you would be able to join us.
