This course is designed to train technical staff to advance functional visual assessments, to increase the reliability of test results globally and to ensure the implementation of ISCEV standards.

On completion of this course, students will:

  • understand the basic technical aspects of recording an electrophysiological response
  • know how to calibrate visual stimuli and the recording equipment
  • be able to distinguish signal from noise and know how to reduce sources of artefact
  • be able to show how to record each ISCEV visual electrophysiological response and measure the traces.
