The Covid 19 pandemic has changed the plans of most of the world’s population during the last 12 months, but the good news is that ISCEV 2021 will still be happening and will still be hosted in Liverpool. Tony Fisher and the organizing committee from the University of Liverpool look forward to welcoming you to Liverpool either in person or virtually on 6–9 September 2021. We are planning a hybrid meeting in the hope that UK government regulations and international travel arrangements will allow a proportion of ISCEV members to attend in person, but we are also making arrangements for online participation for delegates who cannot attend in person. The University of Liverpool has very good physical and virtual conferencing facilities and is able to adapt its facilities to whatever social distancing measures may still be in force at the time.
Open for abstracts: [tba]
Closing date for abstracts: Friday 16 July 2021
We anticipate that registration will open on 1 June 2021 and we will publish registration fees for in-person and virtual attendance soon.
Subject to UK government regulations, we anticipate being able to offer good quality accommodation within the University of Liverpool without a cancellation penalty. There is also a range of hotel accommodation within a few minutes walking distance of the University for those who prefer this (again subject to UK government regulations in force at the time), though delegates who intend to book hotels are advised to choose refundable bookings.
Travel arrangements remain subject to UK and international government regulations. At this stage, we strongly advise that delegates who hope to attend in person take appropriate advice before making any bookings and choose refundable options.
Tony Fisher will be providing regular updates on his blog at [tba] and welcomes your feedback.
